Exe Endurow
Team EXE ENDUROW have been living together as a team and as a result are able to race. The money raised will be split between two great causes; The British Red Cross to help with the Covid-19 efforts and Just One Ocean who are committed to preserving the ocean for future generations. They are also aiming to beat the current Guinness World Record for rowing unaided around Great Britain which was previously also set by GB Row teams.
Why GB Row:
Different schools, different hometowns, different sports, different degrees but a shared goal. Each of our blueprints is unique, but the uniting factor is we are a group of final year students from the University of Exeter. We have a diverse set of interests; ranging from mountaineering, trail running and rugby.
We don’t underestimate the challenge, we think it’s going to be very tough, but we like the idea of entering as a team and knowing we will have as hard a time as one another.
We share a common desire to be stretched and challenged in arduous conditions. We share this desire as we seek to develop ourselves and prove what can be achieved by young people when the right mindset is applied.
We would like to complete this challenge whilst raising money and awareness for the problem of ocean pollution, in the hope that we might contribute towards a more sustainable future for the UK’s waters.
