Our Charity Partners
Active Row
GB Row Challenge’s youth outreach charity partner is Active Row, a programme run and operated by the charity London Youth Rowing. Together we will be engaging 90 schools across the country to help get kids active and inspired by rowing and the life skills this offers. Alongside this we will be helping kids understand the importance of protecting our waters and oceans.
Active Row ensures that those who are left behind have an opportunity to find a sport that works for them and access the vital life skills and basic developmental needs they're excluded from. The benefits of rowing as a sport are clear to us all in terms of structure, teamwork and inner motivation. So we are delighted to be supporting this brilliant charity. Please help us in raising money to support an inspiring and worthy cause.

Marine Conservation Society
GB Row Challenge is proud to support the Marine Conservation Society.

Boat Charities
Each of the three boats competing in GB Row 2022 have chosen to fundraise for a charity that they are passionate about. You can support the crews by donating to their fundraising campaigns, by competing in our Virtual GB Row Team Challenge, or by purchasing a GB Row Challenge Protect Our Oceans Wrist Band.
Team Albatross and Active Row

Team Albatross is fundraising for Active Row, a programme run by the charity London Youth Rowing. Sport is one of the most powerful tools to support and guide all young people, but it's not a level playing field and those who need it the most face the biggest barriers.
