GB Row Challenge founder, William de Laszlo, said: “As a leading sustainability consultancy firm with a commitment to driving positive environmental change within businesses and communities, Simply Sustainable’s goals align perfectly with the ethos and values of GB Row Challenge.
“Together, we aim to inspire individuals and organisations to embrace sustainable practices while pushing the boundaries of human achievement.”
The GB Row Challenge combines the power of rowing with the purpose of driving scientific advancements to protect our planet’s marine ecosystems.
Teams embark on a 2,000 mile journey around Great Britain collecting data on microplastics, noise pollution, biodiversity, temperature and salinity.
Simply Sustainable’s CEO, Nicola Stopps, said: “GB Row Challenge is an extraordinary venture and test of physical and mental strength. I am so proud that Simply Sustainable has partnered with GB Row as our commitments to sustainability and wanting change in human behaviours align.
“Our purpose is to make businesses report, take ownership and react to environmental concerns with transparent strategies. The data gathered will be fascinating to learn from and prompt the responsible change required. We very much look forward to supporting the teams as they combine sports and science and we know they are working hard to prepare for the tough tides ahead!”
William added: “This new partnership is an exciting opportunity to champion sustainability while encouraging teamwork, resilience and camaraderie through the spirit of rowing. We look forward to working with the team at Simply Sustainable to leave a lasting legacy of environmental stewardship.”
