KOMALE, THE ONLY BOAT TO HAVE EVER BEEN ROWED AROUND GB BY A PAIR, IS FOR SALE

The challenges encountered when rowing around Britain are far more diverse and technical than those met when crossing an Ocean. This beautifully finished pairs boat, built by the legendary Jamie Fabrizio at Global Boatworks, was specifically adapted, after her transatlantic crossing, to overcome these challenges. Contrary to other teams attempting this row:

    - We had no power issues at all (despite characteristic overcast conditions)
    - Our anchor held firm (even at 25m in a large swell and onshore winds off Cape Wrath)
    - We could navigate both inside and outside the cabin (navigation is the key)
    - We held our line rowing upwind (due to a modified bow)

Rowing around GB as a pair is significantly more difficult than doing it as a four. Consequently you need to be able to rely on your kit and preparation is everything. Why do it yourself when we have done it for you? Komale is champing at the bit to go again (although we are not!).

GET IN TOUCH IF YOU ARE A PAIR CONSIDERING THIS ROW.

Last year we had a number of people interested our Braca Oars for the GB Row Challenge. These oars are custom made to your specifications, and the enquiries came too late for us to get them manufactured in time.

Nick Dennison and Hamish Reid used Braca Sculls to get the record time around GB in a Double.

If you are considering this event, you should be considering Braca Sculls, so please make sure you order in plenty of time. We need about 12 weeks for these custom blades to be made.
